An overview of what we'll be looking at in this course.
Module 1: Introduction to Amazon Web Services
Learn about benefits of cloud deployment compared to on-demand delivery, and learn about the pay-as-you-go pricing model.
Module 2: Compute in the Cloud
Become acquainted with the basics and benefits of Amazon Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), in addition to Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and other services, such as Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS).
Week 2
Global Infrastructure and Reliability, Networking
Module 3: AWS Global Infrastructure and Reliability
Become familiar with the benefits of the AWS global infrastructure by understanding Availability Zones. Learn about Amazon CloudFront, and compare provisioning methods for the AWS Cloud.
Module 4: Networking
Be introduced to various concepts of networking, including the differences between public and private networking resources, virtual private networks (VPNs), and AWS Direct Connect.
Week 3
Storage and Databases
Module 5: Storage and Databases
Learn about the benefits of important services such as Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, and Amazon DynamoDB, among others.

Learn about security policy, the AWS shared responsibility model, and how to differentiate between AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) security levels, among other important topics.

Learn how to approach monitoring your AWS environment, and learn more about Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS Trusted Advisor.

Learn about AWS pricing and support models, methods you can use to monitor billing, and the benefits of AWS Organizations and setting up consolidated billing.

Migration and Innovation, The Cloud Journey
Module 9: Migration and Innovation
Learn various ways to migrate to the AWS Cloud, such data migration with the AWS Snow Family of products and AWS CAF.
Module 10: The Cloud Journey
Learn the five pillars of the Well-Architected Framework and the six benefits of cloud computing.

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Basics
Gain an understanding of how the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam is structured, as well as some strategies to help you prepare. Lastly, take a final assessment to test your knowledge of topics covered in this course.
